Meet two Goyankar beauties, Bimba and Ziggy. (Goyankar means they're from Goa!)
Both belong to Ze and Marisa Belchior.
Both belong to Ze and Marisa Belchior.
Bimba is a gorgeous tricolour INDog, nearly two years old now. She was around two months old when Ze rescued her from some Neanderthals (Disclaimer: that's my description, not Ze's, just in case they can read).
'She was being teased by the neighbours to take food offered and then kicked back about 6 feet because of her aggression when it comes to food,' says Ze.

'So I picked her up and washed her and gave her food. She then decided to leave and come back just in time to have four square meals in the day.
Ziggy the cute INDog-mix is now nearly four years old, but was a small forlorn pup at the time of adoption.
'Her mother had abandoned her, so she came and fell at my feet, badly malnourished, full of fleas and mange. I picked her up, put her in a box and took her home.'
Please note how devoted both dogs are to Ze's baby!
These are certainly two of the luckiest dogs in Goa, and probably two of the prettiest.
How I wish all dogs could meet a kind benefactor in their darkest hour. I'm so glad at least some of them do!
