About Me

My photo
Mumbai, India
I'm a landrace dog fancier. Founder of the INDog Project (www.indog.co.in) and the INDog Club. Before that, I worked with urban free-ranging dogs of Mumbai from 1993-2007. Also a spider enthusiast and amateur arachnologist.

This blog is for primitive dog enthusiasts. It is part of the INDog Project www.indog.co.in. Only INDogs (India's primitive indigenous village dogs) and INDog-mixes (Indies) are featured here. The two are NOT the same, do please read the text on the right to understand the difference. Our aim: to create awareness about the primitive landrace village dog of the Indian subcontinent. I sometimes feature other landrace breeds too. Also see padsociety.org

Angy
- Mumbai

This is Angy. I found her shivering beneath a car, hiding herself from the Mumbai rains. Separated from her mother, brothers and sisters, Angy is looking for a home. She is 3-4 weeks old female, very cute and playful. Would you like to be her proud owner??

Soni
- Mumbai

Soni was abandoned outside Mount Mary Church, Bandra, Mumbai when she was just 30 days old. A kind candle shop owner has looked after her for 1 month but cannot keep her anymore due to Novena & Bandra Festival which attracts lakhs of people to the Church. She will be lost in the crowd. Soni is extremely intelligent, smart and loving. She loves to play around and is very comfortable with human touch. She is potty-trained and loves pet food (6 months supply will be donated by us). Her vaccinations & sterilization (as soon as she is 6 months old) will be taken care of by us.

Please help this beautiful tan colored, light-eyed angel find a home.

Please call 98207 11530 or send an email to payal.bhatia@petsmartpetproducts.com to bring Soni home.

I found Bobby near my house and have taken him in. I am new to having pets and my and family and I travel a lot. I have got him de-wormed and vaccinated and would love to give him to a family who would be willing to adopt him.

Contact me on annamalaivrv@gmail.com if you are willing to provide him with a home.
