This blog is for primitive dog enthusiasts. It is part of the INDog Project www.indog.co.in. Only INDogs (India's primitive indigenous village dogs) and INDog-mixes (Indies) are featured here. The two are NOT the same, do please read the text on the right to understand the difference. Our aim: to create awareness about the primitive landrace village dog of the Indian subcontinent. I sometimes feature other landrace breeds too. Also see padsociety.org

Another new member! Yvonne de Kock adopted this pretty puppy in Pune last year and took her back to NYC. Her name is Leela and she is now about 14 months old.

There are lots of snaps of Leela in this blog - her ears stayed floppy http://indianpariahdog.blogspot.com/search?q=yvonne+de+kock
But Rishi's are "airplane." Btw, Rishi is my Kimaya's brother, they were rescued together in December 2008 :-) Rishi was taken abroad by Yvonne, and Kimaya lives in our Nagaon house.
