About Me

My photo
Mumbai, India
I'm a landrace dog fancier. Founder of the INDog Project (www.indog.co.in) and the INDog Club. Before that, I worked with urban free-ranging dogs of Mumbai from 1993-2007. Also a spider enthusiast and amateur arachnologist.

This blog is for primitive dog enthusiasts. It is part of the INDog Project www.indog.co.in. Only INDogs (India's primitive indigenous village dogs) and INDog-mixes (Indies) are featured here. The two are NOT the same, do please read the text on the right to understand the difference. Our aim: to create awareness about the primitive landrace village dog of the Indian subcontinent. I sometimes feature other landrace breeds too. Also see padsociety.org

Rani, INDog pin-up princess

Remember beautiful Rani, who travelled from South India to the South of France with rescuers Emmanuelle and John?

Rani lives a wonderful life on the Cote d'Azur, near Nice. If you follow our INDog Club on Facebook, you will have seen these recent pictures of her already. This post is for the Facebook-phobic!

In Paris with Ungo the rabbit

A bit bored in Paris...doesn't compare with the Cote d'Azur...

The last picture is of Rani with a visitor: Monique Nerman, owner of Tommy! Monique and Tommy have been living and travelling in Europe for some months now. Last week Monique met Emmanuelle and Rani at their home (it was a short trip so Tommy remained in Spain). They might all be neighbours soon!
