About Me

My photo
Mumbai, India
I'm a landrace dog fancier. Founder of the INDog Project (www.indog.co.in) and the INDog Club. Before that, I worked with urban free-ranging dogs of Mumbai from 1993-2007. Also a spider enthusiast and amateur arachnologist.

This blog is for primitive dog enthusiasts. It is part of the INDog Project www.indog.co.in. Only INDogs (India's primitive indigenous village dogs) and INDog-mixes (Indies) are featured here. The two are NOT the same, do please read the text on the right to understand the difference. Our aim: to create awareness about the primitive landrace village dog of the Indian subcontinent. I sometimes feature other landrace breeds too. Also see padsociety.org

Kimaya portraits by Neha

And now, Kimaya's portraits by Neha! Kiba's are in this post

(She was going through a shedding phase - I'm wishing I'd brushed her fur off the bed before the photo session, as it all got picked up by Neha's sharp lens! Something to remember in future.)

About the photographer: Neha's pet portraitures started a couple of years ago when she rescued her two dogs, Champak Lal and Jalebi. Starting with C and J, over time she would sneak out to take pictures of other dogs during nap time - but was always caught out by the doggy smells coming off her when she got home. She only photographs animals (no weddings or parties - sorry) and would be glad to help you capture memories of your pets. You can reach her on NehasPetPs@gmail.com
