I'm a landrace dog fancier. Founder of the INDog Project (www.indog.co.in) and the INDog Club. Before that, I worked with urban free-ranging dogs of Mumbai from 1993-2007. Also a spider enthusiast and amateur arachnologist.

This blog is for primitive dog enthusiasts. It is part of the INDog Project www.indog.co.in. Only INDogs (India's primitive indigenous village dogs) and INDog-mixes (Indies) are featured here. The two are NOT the same, do please read the text on the right to understand the difference. Our aim: to create awareness about the primitive landrace village dog of the Indian subcontinent. I sometimes feature other landrace breeds too. Also see padsociety.org

INDog-mix pup Fluffy needs a home

This little one month old pup was abandoned at Carter Road by a woman/monster. Luckily Aishwarya, an 11th standard student was passing by at that moment and saw what happened. The woman told her that the pup was getting on her nerves and she was dumping him.

The pup, Fluffy, is now at Aishwarya's place and needs a home really soon as her mother is not letting her keep him.

Please help with a home. Please. This is urgent. We have just 2 days before Fluffy gets deposited at the SPCA. Pass this message on to your friends.

Some feedback: Fluffy got a very good home, through people forwarding the adoption appeal to their email networks. If we all spread the word about dogs for adoption via email and sms, I'm sure good homes can be found for every dog who needs one. A dog could get a better life if each of us just spent a few minutes doing this. Worth that little bit of trouble, isn't it?
